New Mexico's tumultuous territorial era is the inspiration for the Spanish series "Without Fear of the Night." Women during that time had to employ exceptional courage to confront lawlessness, corruption, racism and sexism in order to survive.

In the fictional town of Amparo, New Mexico, Pilar Luna and her cousins, Serena and Leticia Villanueva, are plunged into a nightmare from which each alone must save herself. And each young woman learns that it is possible to replace fear with courage. Like any skill, courage can be honed with practice and perseverance.
